Flamenco + Spanish course Andalucía

Want to dance? You’ll have 2 flamenco classes combined with 3 Spanish classes every day. So that you can learn Spanish, do what you want and don’t spend all day in the classroom!

Flamenco lessons in Almería 

You’ll learn different flamenco rhythms, from the easiest (tangos, tientos, fandangos) to the most complicated choreographies (soleá, alegrías, farruca, seguiriyas) so that you can dance and express the passion that we all have inside us. You only need comfortable clothing and flamenco shoes (not expensive, in case you are wondering)

Your teacher is Vanessa Sánchez, a professional flamenco dancer. She is also a piano teacher.

Schedule:

3 Spanish lessons (45 minutes  per lesson) + 2 flamenco lessons (45 minutes per lesson) every day, from Monday to Friday.

Spanish intensive course: 8’30 to 11’00 (15 minutes break included)

Flamenco lessons: 11’30 to 13’00

This means that every day you come to our Spanish School, attend your grammar and conversation lessons, and you have a break of 30 minutes when you can talk to your colleagues, have a coffee and enjoy the sun, and go to the Flamenco school: it’s only 2 minutes away,. Our teacher Vanessa Sánchez will be waiting for you!

Flamenco lessons start with  light stretching exercises, preparing the body for the exercise and avoiding any injury. In the beginning, you will learn about different Flamenco rhythms: tangos, fandangos, alegrías, bulerías, seguiriyas… after that, you’ll work on body movements, arms, feet, and  go right to a choreography. In 2 weeks intensive course, you will be able to dance tangos, alegrías or a soleá!

And best of all: at the end of the course there is a special session with live music! A flamenco singer and a flamenco guitar player will perform the flamenco rhythm chosen for you. This is an unique experience! Dancing with live music, fitting to your steps… If you like dancing, if you did any dancing course before, if you play an instrument, or just love music you can’t forget the magic of flamenco.

And if you don’t dance, no problem! We also have a flamenco guitar course and a cajón flamenco course.
